A high-speed roll-up door for doorways that need to keep traffic moving

A high-speed roll-up door is designed for applications with heavy traffic where the door needs to open quickly. The right door helps improve material flow, limit the exchange of air and temperature between different environments, and support safe movement through the doorway.

If a forklift or other vehicle hits a BMP DynamicRoll door, the flexible door curtain can release from the side guides. The door guides the curtain back into position during the next opening cycle. The purpose of the solution is to reduce the need for repairs caused by impacts and shorten downtime.

Questions about high-speed doors

What is a high-speed door and where is it used?

A high-speed door is a fast-opening and fast-closing industrial door with a flexible door curtain. It is used particularly in busy doorways where the objective is to improve forklift and pedestrian traffic and reduce the exchange of air, temperature, humidity or contaminants between different areas. 
What is a self-repairing high-speed door?

With BMP DynamicRoll doors, self-repairing means that the flexible door curtain can release from the side guides in the event of an impact. The door guides the curtain back into position during the next opening cycle. The purpose of the solution is to reduce the need for manual repairs and shorten downtime. 
How much does a high-speed door cost?
The price of a high-speed door depends on factors including the size of the opening, operating environment, door model, automation, accessories and installation. Hygiene, cold storage, cleanroom and wind-resistance requirements also affect the overall solution. An exact price can be determined once the dimensions and requirements of the application are known. 
Can a BMP high-speed door be customised with our own logo or image?
Yes. BMP high-speed doors can be customised to match a company’s visual identity, for example by adding a company logo, graphics or another image to the door curtain using digital printing. 
Which high-speed door is suitable for a cold room or freezer?
The most important selection criteria include the temperature difference between the areas, humidity, traffic volume and risk of ice formation. FRIGO 1 uses an insulated multilayer curtain, while FRIGO 2 creates an insulating air space between two curtains. Heating or AIR solutions can also be used when required to manage condensation and ice. 
Can a high-speed door be installed outdoors?
Yes. For outdoor applications, the door model and dimensions are selected according to the wind and weather conditions. BMP’s B-DRIVE range is designed for demanding outdoor applications, and wind resistance depends on the door model and door size. 
Who sells, installs and services BMP high-speed doors in Finland?
Champion Door is currently building BMP’s regional dealer network in Finland. Enquiries are directed to the appropriate regional partner or to Champion Door’s BMP sales team. Installation and service arrangements are agreed on a project-specific basis.
